I had to read your first sentence four times before I could understand wtf you were on about.

Maybe it's not her English that's the problem.

My moan today is cables and lights, every time i come home day or night the house is lit up like Blackpool illuminations with every light and appliance using enough electric to light a small country.
I must spend 10 minutes a day unplugging and switching off.
Sometimes it's easier to just visit the fuse box
That puts a spanner in the works...

I always find that bacon and eggs are better dead. Makes it all so much easier to eat.

Leave the wifi alone. Confiscate their chargers.....slower, but much more fun.

Another moan, have an outdoor kitchen, roofed, but concrete floor, so think some tiles are in order.
Guy gives a price per meter to lay the tiles, OK he orders the cement and sand for the job , I pay.

6 days later, no work done, new year, weddings and other parties still on going, no one works, go figure.

I bet the guy had a wonderful New Year with your money, James. Your money would buy a few bottles of 40 degree or Blend 285, or whatever his poison is. Of course, he'll need some more money from you to buy the sand and cement now.

No , I paid for the sand and cement, tiller and helpers have got zero Baht, been here too long to pay in advance. Pay by work done, no work, no money.

James, carefull, the English issue is a slippery road, next it'll be Yoga and then Porridge, Think of it like a traffic light system, you're on green you don't want to get to Red,. Red means you are in LD territory and you sure as hell don't want to be there.

And he'll need money to buy the tiles, don't forget the tiles or you'll end up with a mortar floor on top of your concrete floor.

    Nah...
All this would be under the assumption that all Thai ladies are of the same character/mind set.
As they are as different from one to the other.

So....none of the referred standard stereotypes apply - one/couple instances doesn't reflect universality among the fair maidens.

I did one not long ago.

Decided for my next one I'm insisting on either being unconscious, or in cloud cuckooland on the World's best drugs.

Crackers ain't it. The problem with all these seasonal holidays; Xmas, Easter and even that imported rubbish Halloween is that it just puts enormous pressure on parents with all the sweets etc - its all the kids associate with the events. Thank goodness that's all past for me.

Oh and to give this the Gent spin, Fucking commercial bollocks bought into by the moronic unwashed working masses.

Is Valentines Day a big deal there? That's what's on the shelves here now...candy(and cards) for that.

Yep, forgot that farce as well.

The only fun to be had with Valentines is sending cards to colleagues with cryptic clues as to whom it could be from and then watching the fun as the narcissists think they've pulled.

Dammit! I never thought of that. That's classic.
PM me the forum's resident narcissist's address (I'm sure you know it). I'll do it.

Oh, hang on, he's been kicked out so maybe you don't know it now.
