Ok....the symptom I have is not related to my prostate or anything like that. It is that I have developed a slight slur in my speech. Mothtly thaying the letter etth.

Well, not quite that bad, but still a worry when you have been previously quite articulate. Dammit !

Horrendous stink in the house for a couple of days.. Couldn't find the source until this morning. -A piece of chicken absent-mindedly bunged in the microwave by the missus and promptly forgotten about. The stench was almost physical, I'm still tasting it a few hours later. Glad I didn't have a hangover, ffs.

    555. Same , same but different. In my case it turned out to be a small bag of eggs my wife had forgotten about.

This is the local "mall" ( it's shit, like most things here!) having a very comprehensive fire drill at 11 pm. Very loud, power off in the neighborhood and the usual screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs. Another sleepless night on a workday, great! That's the entire fire department, btw; so if my apartment block goes up in flames, I'm toast! 6 engines for the entire city-scary! Not got much love for Myanmar at the moment with the blatant ethnic cleansing, racist locals, shit everything and inedible food.

Non moan: All hotels booked for the Thai holiday over Christmas and New Year- looking forward to this break so much!

You're very lucky to have all that excitement outside your apartment. I just get to look at cassava growing.

Fcuking yanks. I can only assume that the US Marines once paid a good will visit to the senior school near to my home and donated some marching band uniforms and some brass instruments many years ago? Unfortunately they only left one musical score for them to practice with, The Halls of Montezuma. I'm not joking, but for the last 12 years nearly every school day the pupils try to play this music. Nothing else. It's driving me nuts. When they ain't playing it I'm fcuking humming the shit.

^^ I would place a wager that all the students have been led to believe it's a Thai composition of national pride.

Buy some music that you really like and donate it to them. Make sure you get something you don't mind being mangled during practice.

It's free now ... the Lassies have gone for a wee dip.

How's the North Sea today? I see the Met office is celebrating 150 years of the shipping forecast .
    Enjoy ...
