Well I decided to have a quick breakfast in Jomtien this morning, at the time of morning I was up there aren't many Jomtien restaurants open and I couldn't be bothered going to Pattaya, so Surf kitchen was the lucky restaurant.

Now this isn't up to the standards of places like Jomtien Boathouse or Bruno's, nor is it in that sort of price range, just about everything on the menu is less than 300baht and the menu is a ridiculous 100 pages long, well, at a wild guess it seemed that long, also handy if you happen to be a Russian tourist as it is in Russian aswell.

They do all the normal Thai meals plus a large selection of Italian, German and French dishes so obviously I went for the spaghetti, pretty good for 99baht and comes with garlic bread, albeit one piece without much garlic taste to it, who needs garlic breath at 8am though.

Nice wooden furniture in the restaurant, outside for smokers and inside air con for reformed smokers.

Yes, they do hamburgers and sandwiches, from the photos on the menu I would say the bread is Thai made so would probably be a bit disappointing.

My spaghetti, not too bad and comes with the grated cheese.

It's a convenience food I miss.

A packet of fish fingers grilled with a saucer of dip, ketchup, tartar, mayo...... as you will to garnish, marvelous.

Then there's the fish finger sandwich, with or without cheese slices. Don't forget a healthy smear of creamed horse radish along with the ketchup..... Hmmm delicious.

Just had my first one last week in Maesai at lunch time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Back at the village I was still on the old stuff, until today when I bought my first case of Classic. 6.4% but it still has a light refreshing taste, like what Singha was years ago, before they messed around with it.

Haven't had a session on it yet, so don't know what the hangover is like.
