    Buying moody documents?

Me mate and I will soon be flying into Thailand so I thought I would do a little research ahead of time. Me mate taught English there some years ago and he reckons that I will need to get some docs. I know where to buy them on Ko Sarn Rd but I was hoping that someone here might know how much I am going to have to pay. I will need both a degree and a Tesol Certificate.
I had a look around the teachers site but didnt think it was clever to ask this question there.
So does anyone have a rough estimate of how much I am going to have to wedge up the forgers?

    Thanks in advance.

Seemed like the right place to ask to me. Sorry. Should I post it in another forum?
I had a look around before I posted it. Where would you suggest Klongmaster?

Oh maybe you are all upstanding citizens here. Do me a favour.

Thanks dirtydog. I was just trying to get an idea of how much I am going to have to wedge up. Are there any Tesol teachers on this site?

It's worth doing the course as you should know a little about how to teach plus you make contacts for jobs.

ahhh I assume you mean ajarn, I believe many of the teachers are using faulty keyboards, as it amazes me about their spelling, this I believe is due to them not being able to buy new keyboards that actually work due to their low salaries.

Yes, that is it, ajarn.net. What a bag of losers. I think that you are making excuses for them. Check the grammar as well. My background is in car sales and insurance but my English is three times better than theirs. Not that I could give a fuck. I think that I will be a great teacher. I just need to find out how much it will cost to get the job.
Anyone know how much they charge for a moody cert?

    Casper the err naive ghost

With the new verification procedure it's a waste of time buying dodgy stuff. You'll get a job without them (just say you left them in the UK), and if you use them to get a TL for a WP.....there's a damn good chance nowadays you will get busted mate.

Also bear in mind teaching ain't super easy, it helps to at least know how not to teach.

Naive or unknowing Kenkannif. My mate told me that I would need those docs and he hasnt been in Thailand for 4 years so if things have changed then he wouldnt have been aware. This business about knowing how to teach makes me laugh as I understand most schools have a curriculum that they stick to anyway. Why the fuck would I waste 2 weeks of my life and end up like one of those idiots at ajarn.net?
I reckon that I may be a bit shaky to start but I will soon pick it up.
Anyway, thats one cost that I can cross off the list. Thanks Kenkannif.

^ Depends how much they think they can sting you for.

So what you are saying then Kenkannif is that I should waste two weeks of my life learning how to teach? I will still need a moody degree though wont I?
What is a TL by the way?

Well as far as I know there aren't any two week only courses mate. So you'd actually be 'wasting' 4-6 weeks of your life. But rather you 'waste' some time, than your students 'waste' their time 'learning' English from someone with no clue of how to teach it.

    But it's up to you.

    Preparation not perspiration
