| Amendment to Section 653 of the Civil and Commerical Code Dear fellow members: Please note that in today's (30/11/2005) Government Gazette is published the Act Amending the Civil and Commercial Code (No. 14) B.E. 2548 (2005), by virtue of which (as the name suggests) certain provisions of the CCC are legally repealed and replaced. If any of my fellow members would like to see the changes in full, please feel free to ask. ~W~ | ||

| what it means is if you buy a round of drinks in the pub and it comes to more than 2,000 baht - make sure you get a written agreement from the rest of the guys that they're buying the next round, otherwise you cannot enforce your right to have them pay. Or, for DD, if you give the bargirl 2,000 upfront, make sure she gives you a written receipts, otherwise you are f*cked, so to speak. |
