Ex-navy vessel sank especially for diving. Located about 45 mins boat ride out of Pattaya. You can do wreck penetrations - side corridors and go up the tower. There is an air pocket in the tower worth taking a look at - but don't breathe the air!!

There is a spot off the southern end of Koh Chuang which is definitely worth exploring. You can dive down the rock face to around 20m - here there are stingray, moray eels, as well as giant pufferfish and blue pufferfish. A nice little spot!!

This site is great for a drift dive or a night dive. I spotted some catfish there last time. Watch out for the stonefish, but it's a great drift location.

Visit the underwater concrete rings then follow shallow reef southwards. Stationary seahorses at 9m (max depth 11m). Please be careful when ascending... it's useful to carry a safety balloon as the nearby jetski station is a hindrance.

Dive Site: Koh Rin
Location: Pattaya Islands, Thailand
Description: Granite rock
Depth: 20 metres max (65 feet) at North Rock, 16 metres max (52 feet) at South Rock
Visibility: 10 - 15 metres (30 - 50 feet)

The North Rock is a great site off Pattaya. You can circumnavigate the granite rock, taking approximately one hour on air. The best section is a coral wall which goes down to 17m.
Sealife: turtles, moray eels, porcupinefish, batfish, barracuda and nurse sharks and the occasional bamboo shark. A giant pufferfish was spotted here on one of my dives.. wow !!! Pity I didnt have a camera!
At South Rock circumnavigate the rocky outcrop. The wall on the south side drops down to 16m. Parrotfish and stingray are present, barracuda too.

A shallow bay useful for beginner divers. The eastern side has concrete cubes at exactly 10m deep (southward facing) and divers can do a great one-way drift dive hopping along from cube to cube. Max depth 15m on the east side.

A nice coral site worth exploring for divers near Bangkok to go and dive at weekends. You see everything from soft corals to turtles, stingrays, sand rays and barracuda. A nice leisurely dive. There are nurse sharks and the occasional bamboo shark down at the lower depths.

Dive Site: Sharkfin Rock
Location: Samae-san, Pattaya, Thailand
Description: Reef
Depth: 22 metres max on the south tip (72 feet)
Visibility: 5 - 20 metres (15 - 65 feet)
Rating: ***
Great dive down in Samae-san. A thin spine of coral heading both north and south, the south finger is best. Saw a blue pufferfish here recently, and an eagle ray. Manta rays are scarce as are blacktip reef, but you see the sharks on occasion. The coral wall on the west side is worth looking at.
