| ^ Nice stuff DD. The good news is that one can now do live aboard snorkeling trips to the Similan Island's out of koh lak. Much of this stuff can be seen at relatively shallow depths and I suggest that some of you fellas give it a crack, as to live in Thailand and not experience this stuff is foking madness. I hope to be doing a live aboard dive trip in April, I'll crank up a picture thread of these incredible Islands as they are national park territory, truly unspoilt with incredibly clear and clean water in season. These Islands are known as world class, the specie of marine life very diverse and I'm looking forward to revisiting these Islands. Check this sight for snorkeling tours. | The Dog | Koh Lanta and an octopus Octopus tend to lurk in holes in the coral reef, squeezing their incredibly flexible bodies into the smallest places. This one, however, decided to go for a run across the reef. Check out the incredible colour changes and the beautiful way its body flows as it moves. Mesmerising stuff. This clip was filmed at Koh Haa, a dive site near Koh Lanta in Thailand.

| When I worked in Koh samui 17 years ago, we used to take dive boats up to koh tao. We paid a Thai fisherman to take us out and show up Chumporn pinnacles cos it was hard to find. We then buoyed it. Don't think I ever dived there after that, hated Samui, went back to phuket. Haven't set food on Samui since, wankers. Last edited by Bobcock : 02-03-2008 at 12:46 PM. |
