    Price to build bungalow ?

    Hello,

I plan to engage a construction company to build a bungalow to Krabi with concrete wall, one room and nice outdoor design. They ask me 9.000 baths per square meter so 360.000 for 40sqm. Do you think it’s a good price please?

    Thanks

Several threads have been done and discuss costs, DD and others are the experts. I would be interested in hearing what you are getting for 360000bht. in Krabi.

We plan on making a bungalow in Nong Khai so I can have some privacy (and a few western comforts) when we go visit her family.

Will report back on pricing once we get around to it.

Yes that's interesting, the price i said doesn't include the doors, windows, toilet, shower and water tank...

    Thanks

So its a slab with pencil wire for re-bar, "reinforced concrete" Thai style walls, no red brick with mortar for you lad, no roof, no provisions for elec., plumbing needs....sounds great, build it!!! Another Thai contractor turned alligator by his client.

8,000 is a budget job, done to Thai standards in my opinion.

Try 12,000 baht per square metre and that is for the absolute bare minimum.

Now with the floods building material prices have gone through the roof and that's if you can find the stuff to buy.
