Copper Pipe????

Hi,
Does anyone know of a copper pipe supplier in the Chiang Mai region?

I am after some 2", 1.5", 1" and 0.5" lengths.

Also, if they supply reducers "T" s etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using this for water?? drain or whatever? I had mine done with Syler pipe (for water) which is a steel pipe with a pvc insert..water doesn't touch the steel. Available at Home Pro and others, but you need to watch they use the syler fittings and pipe dope. I tried looking at copper but as pipe is buried in walls and AC copper is kinda thin for long term water use...Tested mine at 95 psi for 3 days..no leaks so covered up. No problems so far and normal pressure is 30 - 50 PSI. Just a suggestion.

To be truthfull, I want to make a still!
I need a 2" pipe for the jacket for my condenser.

In Pattaya there is quite a good shop with a solid supply of copper pipes and fittings on Theprasit road not far from the Sukhumvit junction.

Maybe to redeem themselves they could manage some basi brazing. I was thinking that if the tubing was not available, I could get some copper sheet and have it rolled into 2" or 3" tubes then simply brazed, surely they can do this kind of work. I was looking at some air con units after you guys mentioned it, and to be honest, it looked pretty good!

Off on an air con recon tomorrow, if I get lucky I'll let you know.

Tin solder is good enough and a breeze to do. I could have tried for silver but did not see the need. All fine 20 years on.
