Has anyone heard of this company before? Experiences with them?

And while we are at it... can you please recommend some good builders around the other bangkok area? I'm in Samutsakorn. Not too far from Bangkok.
I have a passing knowledge of them - an english friend from many years back works for them as marketing manager. They seem to build good quality houses in CM. I haven't heard anything bad about them but you should always do due diligence etc
Simon
Thanks Simon - you definitely have the right company (CM).
Anyone else has experience or know anything about them?
Whats your problem with them? or do you already work for them
As stated above. I'm looking to build a house... I was wondering if they would be a good choice for architectural work and construction.
haha actually I did not state it above. Sorry!... but yeah we are moving to thailand soon. so we are thinking to build a house... already have the lot... just need the architectural work and build it!
they are very expensive but have a reasonable reputation
only in Chiang Mai, and you would need to commuicate in Thai
nice guys and very helpful
When I asked Kensington if they could design and build me a 5 million Baht house they replied that my project was too small for them and that I should look elsewhere.
You'll have to read the whole story for all the details and pricing, but what is standing now has cost about 1.5 million so far and will be 2 million by the time I move in. When everything is built, 2 houses, pool and staff quarters, it will have cost about 6 to 7 million.
Fred,
You don't happen to have a consolidated excel or something of all your expenses do you?
That would be real convenient!!!!
ouchhhhhhhh. phew 1.5 mil. why piles??at a 1/2 mil.(not building in bangers are you???) say approx 300.000 baht for a great alantic retaining wall( a normal double red brick would has been sufficient)approx 200.000 baht for a dirt fill (wow expensive loads). that brings up a cool mil
. plus approx 1/2 mil for your architect/project mngr.(fluke).who is only a qualified draughtsmen. ( nice hay for 18 months work) another 1/2 mil.(according to you) to finish stage one. plus 1.5 mil for present bld .... total 3.5 mil.. your money fred ..your call.. but geeeeeeeeze
No, building on the side of a hill.
It cost 180,000 and it has to be steel-reinforced as it is holding my garden in place. The other side of the wall is 2 metres lower down / closer to sea level.
You said it.
