Plans ? Just go draw a scaled plan of the house yourself, and submit it. That's all we did.
Buy yourself a 3D Home Architect Design Suite "Deluxe 8" programe from any computer shop (copy about 200 baht) and do your own design.
You can then base your design on the plot size and shape, positioning regarding sun travel across your house, an open plan for Thailand climate and creating your own view with regard to windows and gardens.
So easy and you get exactly what you want.
In fact on every occasion I have submitted my plans for building permission they have been accepted.
Which one?Quote:

I use this all the time. Much easier to learn and use than CAD/CAM programs. When I see a plan I like, simply replicate it using Home Architect. The plan you like easy to do.Quote:

I have done all my house designs on a home architect program. They are easy to use and you get a good idea of the finished article. Its nice when finished to use the fly around and walk through features. So much better than sketches.
I've been a reader on Teakdoor for sometime but just joined after seeing your post.
I wanted to send a private message but I don't have enough posts.
Did you already purchase the plan A-34p7 from Thailand House? If you did, are you happy with them? I really like that plan also and want to buy it. If you can PM me I have a special question to ask. cheers, Peter
Also Google Sketchup is worth a look, although there's a slightly greater learning curve, you can achieve some great results that really get into the finer details of the property.
It is especially if you need to share designs with others. Free download available to all.Quote:
