One of the better Thai-farang hybrids. Just change the colour scheme. And the balcony roof. Who the feck wants a roof slanting down to their balcony railings?

Maybe it's a high-so thing, stops natural sunlight so helps keep you anemic looking.

Chao faa's could use some shaping/styling but I like! Looks like you could actually walk underneath too, as modeled. The balcony overhang would be an easy change and would save some Baht.

looks nice i would like to build something like this one day... pity about the links to the plans too many dud links having to download etc, anyone know of any good honest house builders in phuket?

Second; try to find true carpenters
Three; you have stairs at older age it is terrible

I think you have more fun of a house when you build a one story house. A bungalow no larger then 160 m2 plus a big carport. In case you live with 2 persons.

In Thailand you have a lot of dust, 10x more than in western countries. Try to keep it clean. I see older Thai with similar houses as you have showed, that they extend the ground floor living space, because they can't use the stairs anymore. Build your house on a monticule, incase there might be flooding.

Myself I live in a 300m2 bungalow, hard to clean, hard to cool and high energy bills. My uncle has a 2 story house, around 450m2. He need 2 maebaans to keep it clean.

I think so, he has a second building 150m2 for his vehicles.....
