Dennis Hopper House. Some design ideas.

Sorry not trying to highjack your thread but found this and thought it might go good with the contemporary style you are designing: the Denis Hopper house is for sale http://www.hoppercompound.com/

It didn't rock my boat. I thought the out houses looked more homely.

The man had taste, thats for sure. Simple, understated and functional. Plus some good bikes, if you like American iron.

Dennis thought them significant for launching a career that gave him the money to build the house I reckon.

^ I'd accept that if they were the originals. Or even replicated to look like the originals.

Like a gallery space. He has a great collection of art, artifacts and furniture. The wall to wall sisal carpeting is very uncomfortable and difficult to maintain but it looks great.

His art collection is worth a fortune. He was an avid collector of pop art. I would give my left nut for one of his Warhol paintings.

Different. Like it but whomever ends up with it is getting a mausoleum to Dennis Hopper.
