I live 350 km NE of Bangkok. 'Homemart' builders supplies have it in the towns and so do some of the satellite stores out in the villages in white or brown.

If you're talking about UPVC, Windsor is available all over Thailand. Web site in Thai so you might need a bit of help in the where to buy map.

I prefer Oxtail
Cream of mushroom with a little chilli sauce to spice it up.
anyway, back to sniping at gutters
It was the case that UPVC gutters could not stand the sun and fell apart, although some manufacturers now give a guarantee
The local galvanised guttering comes in at least two grades, and is relatively cheap
get the better grade, make sure the supports are close together (min 1m) and it should last a long time. It also has a decent profile so can deal with those heavy downpours
I have reported your post
I'm sure you're right but it just looks so ugly. Especially on a wooden house.Originally Posted by DrAndy

I found this on another forum.
Any comments anyone?
"They are selling a nice fibre glass gutter in Homepro in Pats now. I have seen houses with it installed and it looks good. It's available in various styles of pipe sections, proper styled fittings, clamps etc."
Cheers for that. Not bad really.Originally Posted by tranceformasian
I wonder, purely out of curiosity, how that compares to steel?
Rumour has it that steel costs 150 baht a meter fitted.
Do you have any more info on the fibre glass stuff?Originally Posted by FarangRed
Why'd you go for the galvanised?
Galvanised metal can only be painted with 'acid etch paint'. Up 'til now, I cannot locate in Thailand. "Acid etch paint' does what it says, other types of paint won't bond and will flake off after time.Originally Posted by Norton
^i have brought it in hua hin so it is definately available.
Thanks for that. Is it a national company ? If so, for me, I need to find if they sell in Isaan.Originally Posted by splitlid
