    Thai construction prices

Hello all, new to site but would like some input ,I will be living at my wifes mothers home, it is just her and mom.She has a nice home but can use small improvements. At my age i cant see myself building a new home but would like to just fix up the exsisting mothers home and live there. My wife and mom say its ok but is it a Thai thing or is it ok or should i just build a add-on...

If it's just a matter of installing a western bathroom, then I can't see that ruffling MIL's feathers, go for it.

Sounds like the typical thing with wodden made 1. floor which makes a covered terrace underneath? If space enough around should be easy to make an appendix building connected to the cement base construction with western style bathroom and toilet?

I wish the place you stay have a HomePro, GlobalHouse, Index Living Mall, Cement Thai HomeMart that you can go to select and buy stuffs for your western bathroom.

Buy all things you want and the rest leave it to Thai construction.
