    European Style Kitchen in Thailand

Lets sort this out once and for all and actually list and price what a European type kitchen actually costs in Thailand.

Right first off in Europe your kitchen would be heated either by radiator or something else for a nice working envoirement temperature, so thats one aircon at 20,000baht.

Traditionally houses in Europe have walk in pantries, ok your local council doesn't rent these type of houses but traditionally on a high end house you would have a walk in pantry, this = 1 small cold room which will cost around 80,000baht.

You got to wash up those thai dishes even if they are cheap enough to throw away, so hot water heater, lets go for a cheapy and pick the 8,000baht one.

Most of Europe you can drink or at least use the water for cooking so we need another 8,000baht for a water purifyer.

So now we got the basics of a European kitchen in Thailand, lets look at a fridge, here we are going to need a lot bigger fridge due to the heat, maybe one that makes ice cubes? Lets call that 80,000baht.

Cupboards, counters, deep fat fryer, microwave, oven, hob, extractor unit etc etc etc, yep, European kitchens are expensive both in Europe and Thailand.

Don't forget the Garbage Compactor...heh, imagine one of them in Thailand. Throw the Kai Yaak out on the soi to have vehicles compact it!

That means I don't even have a European kitchen in Europe
