    Some Shop House Questions

Yea I know there's a thread on it but anyway. We are thinking of starting a new project, which would involve the building of a 2 story shop house either 14x7 m or 16x8 depending on how I space the coloumbs. I'll probably go fo 3.5 m spacing to give me 14 m wide and 7 m deep. Is 4 m spacing do-able ?

I know its been asked before but what do you recon on cost/sq m. I'm looking basic. Ground floor one big room second floor 4 rooms, with individual acsess off comunal walkway/balcony at the rear. Each with a toilet(thai) but no kitchen (might put in a sink and a space for a burner) I recon off the top of my head I should have change from a mill but have'nt done any building for a while now so am a bit out of date. Oh I'll sub everything
I have more than the average number of arm and legs

Now I'm over that initial shock. Why so much ? Concrete I suppose, but would of thought there would of been a saving on steel and roof tiles over a normal house

A roof can be had for 600baht per sq met, a floor is structural, reckon 2nd floor at 2,200baht per sq met and you wont go far wrong.
