Congrats on saving enough to build a new place for your folks, Sharon. Good luck to you in the build and I look forward to following your progress. A good daughter indeed!

Not a nice view at all, just a road. A nice view is the backyard actually. Dad grows veggies and fruits, very greenie.
I'd be moving the terrace to the back of the house then.

You mean land? If yes, we got heaps.

By the way, I want to put a fan on the ceiling. How high a ceiling should it be? Any idea?

One more thing, for the kitchen, buying a kitchen set vs. ask someone to build it, which one is cheaper?

Someone said DD posted about building kitchen long time ago, I tried to look for it but couldn't find it.

    2.8m minumum for ceiling fan.
built kitchen is cheaper but must be planned properly and workers must be supervised by someone RESPONSIBLE or they will definately fuck it up
worktop heights, sink position, door positions etc need to be controlled 100%

    It's on right hand side.

This question makes me to stop and think again. Maybe I should swap side?

The total bathroom is 3m x 2m and I give a shower thingy 1m x 2m, I think it should be alright, eh?

Thanks. I'm doing my best. When I first signed a contract with the company here, it's 22 Baht/AUD and now it's up and down around 30 Baht. Man... I'm loving it lol... Hope it will be good like this till the contract ends hehehe....

Because of a question from baldrick about the sun rise so I swap a bit from left to right. I think bed rooms should be on the same side with sun rise.

I think you need to be adding in the wall thicknesses - and your 3 metre wide bedroom will not fit anythng but a single bed longwise.

I do think your shower needs to be wider than 1 metre , also your hallway should be wider.

some of the actual designers like splitlid , humbert and cupcakes should be able to tell you a standard.
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

I like the new design, quite compact but very functional, one small suggestion in the kitchen it appears the window is over the counter if you were to relocate over the sink you can look out while slaving in the kitchen and could also add a cabinet in the space. Good luck hope to see a construction thread soon

standard shower cubicles you buy from d shops are 90cms, so 1m is sufficient, corridors need to be 1m minumum, 1.2 or even 1.4 is better if it can fit..
remember standard doors are 80cms ,
i would get rid of windows above the beds, kitchen needs some more work, sink and oven position in particular, sink should be below window, not oven.
built in robe in bedroom 2 is in the way of the entry. needs making smaller, or reposition.

    apart from that looking goood.

Thank you so much. I repositioned a robe in bedroom2 but didn't get rid of windows, I kinda like it like that but if my family and the builder think the same as you... we will see.

and no windows above stoves now.
