    excella ceramic roof tiles

    Anybody got any advise on excella roof tiles..ie:are they worth the money ?

    They are very good tiles and looks wise an excellent choice if one wants ceramic tiles. They are much more expensive than CPAC tiles such as Monier but if you want the look you have to pay the price. CPAC has some excellent roof tile choices suggest you consider some of their offerings (Monier, Prestige or NeuStile).

    thanks for the reply..do you know if they are cooler than cement tiles..apparently there is no roof vent in the dry tech system so only the 1 mtr eves all around to allow air into the attic space...do you think with foil linning the heat sink will be ok ?

    I used the foil. Called Coolroof available at Homemart. Also, use fiber filled insulation bags above ceiling. Attic ventilation is simply louvered openings to allow cross ventilation. The combination works well for me.
