| Construction in Thailand Is building in Thailand as bad as it seems? Can properties really be built and fitted out to European standards? Would you like to Build your own house in Phuket, or a swimming pool in Bangkok? Solar water heating in Pattaya? Or maybe you want to build a resort or guesthouse on Koh Samui? If you want to build a luxury house in Thailand then this is the forum for you. |

| Thailand Travel Forum | Dirt...Again Probably been done to death but what's the latest price in Central Thailand for a 10 lor truckload of good Din Dum these days? Got a couple of low spots in the wifes property I've got to fill in (after clearing out the overgrown jungle in there) before construction can start. Cheers...

| Thailand Travel Forum | Answering my own post. For anyone who is interested the going price of good "din dum" - not the shitty brown crap, goes for 800 baht per 10 lor truck in northern Suphanburi. There seems to be a 'shortage' of dirt round my way. Construction is booming in these parts and it's tough to get workers. So far I've brought in maybe 110 trucks and the low spots are almost filled. I'll post some pics someday soon. |
