Construction in Thailand Is building in Thailand as bad as it seems? Can properties really be built and fitted out to European standards? Would you like to Build your own house in Phuket, or a swimming pool in Bangkok? Solar water heating in Pattaya? Or maybe you want to build a resort or guesthouse on Koh Samui? If you want to build a luxury house in Thailand then this is the forum for you.

Blackgang - Tried that already!

Norton - A cabinet maker might solve the problem, as more specialised.

Aging one - Yes true, but some carpenters can make pretty good cabinets, built in furniture etc...

Awesome!

Is your brother a member of TD?

If so, my apologizes if ever I have offended him or called him any nasty names.

Somkiat's contact info on his website. I have seen three condos where he has put in cabinetry and all are well done.

It's something the family doesn't like to discuss but yes he is a member. Shortly after he was born, he fell off the hay wagon when on the way home from the hospital. No one noticed he had fallen off. After reaching home mom called the cops and reported him missing. After an exhaustive search, no trace of him was found. Several years went by before we discovered he had been found and was taken to England by a family of traveling circus gypsies.

He grew into a strapping young English lad, fell in love with one of the circus midgets and is now living in Udon. Would rather not give his nic here as he gets all psychotic and suicidal when folks find out he is in fact a seppo.

Suppose he is on the high end. The only benchmark I have on his prices is what my brother paid him to completely gut and redo his condo. Condo 2 br/2 bath, 120 sq meters. New cabinetry in all rooms, new wood flooring and tile, rewire and install new lighting throughout, new kitchen, painting, etc. Price about 600k.

Are the pics the one on the website ??

If so, then 600k seems reasonable, could certainly get it cheaper, but then maybe not better.

No but kitchen cabinetry very similar to what you have all white modern but less cabinets than you have.

Almost the same as another unit he did in the same condo complex here.
