Enviro mentally friendly toilet....or green toilet...but brown...

I am building 2 toilet systems at the moment, thought I might document it here as they are based on enviro friendly systems that do not waste any water, nor use any chemicals to treat the waste grey and black waters.

It is also based on the 'wastewater gardens' principle.

I have adapted to the Nawty could not be arsed technology and made a few refinements.

I like to call it the 'Serg System' (ShitEasyRegenerationGarden)

So it looks like you still have some kind of septic/leach tank and the black water from that flows off to the reed bed, or whatever it is. What happens to the shit in the tank? Do you compost it or just let in rot away into the soil?

So SERG is patent pending, nothing like confidence.

At ground level you could seal and put 3m vents on both those tanks. Also be careful that rainwater doesn't enter them - this is what happened to us.

Swap the bananas for the papayas, as the latter will with too much water.

Think you need a couple of open end tees in your first tank or the scum will soon plug the filter and it should be sealed if just for sanitary reasons as it is really a septic tank even if a trademark is pending. IMHO

well it is all sealed and vented now.

Waiting a little while to finish another job before preparing the garden sections.
