Construction in Thailand Is building in Thailand as bad as it seems? Can properties really be built and fitted out to European standards? Would you like to Build your own house in Phuket, or a swimming pool in Bangkok? Solar water heating in Pattaya? Or maybe you want to build a resort or guesthouse on Koh Samui? If you want to build a luxury house in Thailand then this is the forum for you.

Free Thai House Plans from Thai Gov.

I thought that some others may be interested in these house plans. This was put together by the Thai government when the square faced one was PM. The web site is in Thai, but it has 33 different house plans to choose from. The drawings show perspective, elevation, foundations, elecctrical, plumbing and everything needed to get a permit to build.
I took my design to a printer who does blueprints and had him print them for me.

Untitled Document

Hope this is of use.

This site, Living in Asia , has everything in english and easier to navigate, plus pictures of each design. These are professionally done plans, but all of the writing on the plans is in Thai.

Good luck.

If you don't want to download, the plans are usually also available from your local amphur planning department for a nominal copying fee

We were lent a book of all those plans and another with a bunch of paid plans

fairly easy, but it wont 'convert' it, you have to draw it. heaps of tutorials on 'you tube' on how to use it. the hardest part will be the roof.

I downloaded the design I liked and had it printed in a large format for about 200 baht. It has everything you need to build included.
