Construction in Thailand Is building in Thailand as bad as it seems? Can properties really be built and fitted out to European standards? Would you like to Build your own house in Phuket, or a swimming pool in Bangkok? Solar water heating in Pattaya? Or maybe you want to build a resort or guesthouse on Koh Samui? If you want to build a luxury house in Thailand then this is the forum for you.

I cannot recommend one, but i see "Alan The Builder" alot on the web.

There is gonna a new contractor coming in Khorat.
He , a good friend of mine, is basicly a teacher and has also a good basic building experience. He is a good trustfull Belgian guy, who shall sure give the best of himself for making a deal without any scam.
I , personaly i am not in a hurry to build my house en wait for him to settle in Khorat as contractor.
He is in no hurry to start either and prepare the definitive move to Thailand.
He say , if i move to Thailand and start , then it must be good and definitive , because i dont want to go back homecountry like many farangs who misjudged thailand.
He shall work with his Thaifamily who also workin many years in the buildingsector.
He has no website yet , but he had already a email on Gmail with the "IBC Thailand" (IBCThailand[at]gmail.com)

So, my information is not directly a answer to your question, only it can be usefull if you want to build in the (near) future ...

sorry for that ...

greetings
