I reckoned cement. Limescale wouldn't have had time to build up yet.

I don't have this problem. My black plastic bowl doesn't get affected by limescale build-up.

A fucking sink can't cost that much if it is a problem,, have the contractor replace it as he is the one that fucked it up, and if bad comes to worse; haul ass down and buy a new one FFS.

Well I don't know if it is a problem yet or not as I need to but some vinegar to decide that first.

and they wonder why they are in trouble now

Well once again I need to apologies for not being able to constructively add to this thread. We decided to wait for the Kitchen to be finished and it was late the night before we left for NZ. I will give it a crack when I get back in a few weeks time.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

Actually BG is spot on the mark here.

I have purchased fittings and fixtures in perfect condition and the contractors here go out of their way to fuck up perfectly good parts.

BG you have a job on my next housing project as the QC manager and if I ever am stupid enough to do so again.

The sink should come up better than when you first purchased it.
you can do the same with a crappy issaan sprayjob repair on your car in issaan, as long as they put enough clear lacquer on the metallic stuff (doubtfull) finish off with brasso and plenty elbow grease.

if MY wife left the sink in THAT state, i would kick her 'kkin butt!!!

Well what about this kind of stain in a porclein(sp?) sink? At least I have about 9 months before the wife returns to figure out the problem...

Getting rid of the noodle won't be a problem.

Don't pay him the last payment until he does (unless you're dumb enough to have paid him the balance already).
