    Shower room tiles re-usable??

Water has gotten under the tiles in the shower room. And thus the tiled floor had ballooned up.
I just been advised, that I would need to replace the tiles. As apparently I cannot re-use the original tiles due to the old cement/grout.
    What your take on this?

    Not worth trying to reuse.

Not really worth the bother- you will have some breakages getting the old ones up and then probably a few more getting the old grout off 'em!

Just rip the buggers out and stick some new ones down - cheaper in the long run !!

Trouble is the original tiles are no longer in production. I will have to run around and find a close match. The whole bathroom is tiled.

If its only the floor then use a contrasting colour !! - be artistic - make it a feature !!! ( its only the floor that has the problem ??)

If the tiles have, "ballooned up", don't use the same same tiler, as he obviously does not know what he is doing.
I've seen many leaks in bathrooms here, and the biggest problem is that the tiles, are laid so well, you need an excavator with a rock hammer to get them back up.
