| Basic renovation costs Some basic questions here if I may. I have no idea regarding construction and can usually use a screwdriver with the assistance of an instruction manual. So please bear with me. I also understand that the questions not being too specific are a bit like asking how long is a piece of string I am looking to do some renovation of a house up north. 1) Put down a tiled floor. Currently a stone slab. would like to put down some OK not too extravagant floor tiling - area 65ft by 25ft 2) Install windows 10 of them into pre exisitng spaces. Wooden frames are there no glass. Perhaps better to put in brand new. About 3ft x 4ft 3) Install an indoor bathroom. current "bathroom" is outside. Could anyone please provide me with some general cost indications? Apologies for the vague detail |

| The Dog | Glass costs about 10 to 15 baht per foot, there is a cutting charge and installation charge, so double or treble the glass costs and you have a close figure to reckon with, yeah glass people work on a good profit margin, tileing reckon 350baht to 400baht per square meter, thats materials and labour, bathroom reckon on 30 to 40k baht and your get something that looks okish.

| Oh Fuk | around 3 metres as for your building work, you need to define exactly what you want make a list of works, leave out the actual bathroom fittings etc as they can be all sorts of prices, depending on local/imported/luxury etc get a couple of builders to come and have a look and give you estimates for the work, including materials if you can trust them, otherwise you will have to buy and supply them yourself
