Thread: Sketch/drawers/artists wanted

If anyone has a contact or knows someone who knows someone that can sketch, draw rather well, please let me know.

I need someone in Bangkok to do some nice sketches of several designs for houses from my rudementary scratchings. Each set will need to have floorplans, elevations and 1 or 2 exterior 3d type drawings. Plans and elevations do not need to be formal square, ruler and measured drawings...'sketches' will be fine, but they need to be good at it and not just end up with a box on paper.

If they can speak english then great, if not ok also as we can work around it.

Nawty, if you go to MBK plaza, ground floor, there are a lot of artists who copy pictures and make "originals".

Yes, thought of this....will give it a try if nothing else pops up, but they also want and get top dollar for their services. And with around 7 drawings per design and 5 or 6 designs, could be expensive.

Kind of looking for someone, student maybe, anyone that wants some pocket money for the job.

These are simply prelim sketches for my own benefit, not the real thing used for any real purpose other than getting the look on paper for myself.

well, if you just want sketch drawings, I am sure they are cheap enough

How about the University in Chonburi that has the civil engineering and architectural school? Starving students?

exactly...starving students is what I want. There is another uni I was advised to try also.

Thanks SEA I got the pm also I shall give Keng a try. Any chance to post one of the drawings to see the quality of drawing, although is you want them signed and hung they must be good.

The scanned product is horrible and not truly representative of the artists fine work or of the quality normally seen with TD posts. Best to have a consultation and check it out. My appologies.

She just called that number, twice and the girl that answered was a student and did not know anyone by that name, nor did she know anyone that does drawings, sketches, architecture....but she was in Singburi.

Thanks for the offer, but I certainly need to sit with someone to explain what in my head when it is not clear on a sketch, also my sketches are crap.

Let me see how this other guy goes first. Also really wanted hand drawn rather than computer generated such as in your pics above
