That's a tough question being as there's many variants of metal roofing sheets. Why metal sheets? Why not tiles?

It's for a project of several 2 story houses and the roofs are shed style so the roof appearance is not of great concern

The high end gable is at the front to you cant see the roof surface from the road

The costs for a metal roof with insulated steel sandwich panels ts about 2,000 THB/sqm (but I am note absolutely sure.

    Suntech Steel Works ????????????????

I don'r recommend the standard (cheap) metal roof sheets you can find everywhere.

Tiles may look nicer but you need a good roof builder to get it proper build without leakage. Sandwich panels are already insulated and need less roof structure.

3 or 4 years ago, we replaced a wooden framed and felt tiled sala at the rear of the house, as well as constructing a car port fronting the integral garage. Both were done with galvanised steel framework, topped with pre-painted metal sheeting. The sheets are insulated with foam rubber on the underside, which gives a great seal when the sheets are laid and overlapped.

Some photos, this of the rear sala:

Here's a receipt giving the costs. You can see that the sheet, including the underside insulation, is 345 baht a linear metre.
