Just curious but have you actually lived here for any length of time? Have you traveled about the areas you may believe your building upon?

I have lived for several years (since 1999) and for many others I have been on holiday for 3/6 months ... between samui and bangkok, mainly.
but I traveled all over Thailand.
I bought the land about 2 years ago ...

He did do some nice 3D mock ups. Man If I had known the right folks long ago I would have done many things different.

Check out the "what you may have done different" thread in the building section. Lots of good info there, too bad all the old monkey stuff is gone.

Sorry, I'm the last guy to ask about building here. I'd just as soon do it my self but have seen and met with some folks that have the skills and talent to get you where you want to be.

Depends upon what you want, how much of the project mgt you are doing yourself, quality of finish / fittings etc.

Local style from 9000 -12000 per SQM. Farang western style 18k-25k per sqm.

Just have to remember that the more people in between you and the fittings, materials etc and labourers actually doing the work, the pricier it is, because each takes their cut.

I think the locals called it Buffalo Road, if I remember correctly...

They used to herd them down that road in the olden days...

    Nice area...

Welcome to the TD dysfunctional family.

Watch out for random chicken farmers..... (Long Story)

I really like Cha Am. Quite nice between Cha Am and Hua Hin.

    Good Luck

    Hi Ciccio,
Just in the process of pricing out a build in Roi-et hope to start next sept., it's coming in at about 11,000 per sq meter,
Good Luck in your build, looking forward to some pictures of your land.
