Will the bed be lying on its side, or at an angle?

30 degrees at least, I reckon.

    Zulu you slagggg!

    Talk about triggers!!!

The flaming bed, luckily it is a flat pack cabin style with storage underneath.

There is about 30% walking space next to the bed which isn't ideal. However when he's older a single bed will provide about 40% walking space next to the bed.
There's a wardrobe in there also all care of IKEA and their amazing space saving ideals.

Dillinger, do you have a wheelie bin for that cat to drop into

David, the only insurance needed around these parts is a dog and a baseball bat.

My hands and head are hurting, time to get on the sauce.

    Bedroom 1 95% complete
    Bedroom 2 50% complete

    3 days left to complete

It looks like it is coming along somewhat.. what a job you took on.
Proud of you! Almost done? Just think of the satisfaction when you are finished, even if it isn't exactly what you were going for.

    Haha. Good joke.
You know that tape won't paint well, don't you? And that the tape (proper plastering tape) runs along the joint?
Sorry if statng the obvious, but I'm starting to have my doubts as to whether you are joking or not. Just want you to have the best end result.
I note you didn't add a few extra nogs at strategic points on your diagonal strut frame....you will regret that.

Geez Chitty....mixing metric with imperial...no wonder there's a few little almost unnoticable tiny flaws.

    Missed this thread until now.

Looks like too much hard work. We've just had the painters in - literally, inside and out - so I think you're fucking nuts for bothering to do it yourself.

Quite impressed though also, just quietly.

sauce may help at the moment, but you'll have to wake up to the same problems.

I guess you are back to work now.

Nearly there, you deserve a break here, my squeeze is always on the lookout for a handyman and has never met any of the British Hill tribes.
P.S. time the fire for November 5th, the loss adjuster will think that padding was just a passing Guy

    Carefull there CCC.

Even though the light switch might be turned off, often the wires in and out of the light might still be alive.

With Powerpoints/GPO's ... the wire colour are important and can usually relied on.

With lights ... wires are all colours.

Wack up a few photos and I'll see if I can decipher the wiring.

Best to show the wires in the back of the light fitting and switch.

Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...
