Cost of an in ground swimming pool?

Anyone know what it might cost to put in a swimming pool for a house? Just looking for an average size pool.

    Don't even consider having one.

And don't forget the leaves, and more leaves and even more leaves that you have to remove every bleedin' minute of the day.

Yeah...I've so far resisted putting in a pool.
Seems everyone that has, has lived to regret it. Might be a good idea to put one in, just before you sell a property, as there is no doubt, it definitely adds to the property value.

Good estimate DD I have recently had a 45 meter pood done without tiles and pump/filter system for 10,000 per square meter. Full of dirty rain water at the moment awaiting extra cash to finish it off.

What about a vanishing edge type pool that skims itself? The water flows over the edge of the pool carrying material with it. The leaves are then trapped in a screened sump.

It'll cost you about 2500- 3000 Bht to have the pool maintained, so bear this in mind.
The other thing is, don't skimp. Infinity edged pools are best but cost more obviously. Nothing worse than having a crappy pool that you don't use because the pumping and filtration system keeps breaking down.
