Construction in Thailand Is building in Thailand as bad as it seems? Can properties really be built and fitted out to European standards? Would you like to Build your own house in Phuket, or a swimming pool in Bangkok? Solar water heating in Pattaya? Or maybe you want to build a resort or guesthouse on Koh Samui? If you want to build a luxury house in Thailand then this is the forum for you.

Smart light switches?

Hi all,
I used to live in a condo which had some nice light switches, I don't know the brand though.
White touch panels, with a yellow or blue ring on them, long touch would dim the light.
By the door was a similar panel with another colored ring, tapping this one would switch off all lights in the condo.
Has anybody seen these devices for sale in Thailand?
I'm renovating a condo and would like to go all LED with a bit of "home automation".

Thanks

There's a company called Gratia who do some nice light switches that also have an rf remote, they also have some home automation.

The problem your going to have is finding dimmable LED fittings apart from bulbs. We have just bought most of ours directly from China via DX.com

There are 2 or 3 fittings in HomePro but nothing I've been able to find anywhere else.

there are wifi led lights with built in cameras - not sure how much control of the light itself can be done via the wifi connection

The switches I have with the blue ring around them are part of Phillips Hue Lighting system. As this work nicely with Android, IOS, and Alexa as well as with most other smart home systems this is really the one to go for. Philips Hue review | Stuff
