The neighbors we are just paying there electric bill next month given that the neighbor doesn't have aircon even if they run lights and fans all day and all night it still will be far easier than getting a temporary meter

Need to get your roof up so you have a dry spot to store shit & work when its raining.

Gonna take forever for stuff to dry out if ya keep going like this

Yeah I have been pushing them to finish the metal work so we can get the roof up we have been lucky so far that it hasn't rained that much but I don't want to push my luck.

We haven't started the toilet yet it is a seperate room off to the back haven't even pored the slab for it yet

Im very rapidly getting to the point for just letting them build what ever they want as thats what they seem to be doing anyway.

I was just foolishly trying to build something that our kids could have in 20 years time when the inlaws are no longer in the picture

Been a stressfull few weeks but the results are starting to look ok

So they never got around to painting the metal work in red oxide? Plus there's no vents in the Toilet.

The metal work is painted we just went with a grey primer instead of the usual red primer.

And I specifically didn't want vents as they let the heat and insects in. An electric exhaust fan will be installed.

Looking good. Something fishy about the glass blocks.

Well I was quite surprised to say went to the electricity office to work out what we had to do power wise as we want to install our own pole.

Pole part was easy just install the pole with the board and pipes ready for the meter to be installed.

What shocked me was that we were told that to get power installed we must have an earth and an RCD. Requiring safety am I dreaming wow things might be changing

I just hope they accept my individual RCDs on each circuit instead of those whole house adjustable crap.
