Designs bamboo filled with concrete is interesting

In ground may provide a cool room

Superblock or QCon hebel block would be my pick again with natural materilas for outside areas.

If you can access free pebbles from local stream or Qaurrying a wattle and daub has good thermal aspects

The Queenslander with covered decks was my choice I'll do a thread once I can the pix and upload, last time all my pix got deleted so not much incentive
Some good ideas there and considered some have sometime to get my ideas in place, back in january.

Mine is a slow build i ain't getting it messed up this time.

Because a new house is more than a home, it's a statement," look at me, I am rich, the richest for all to see for miles around, the biggest house . Before, I was the poorest girl in Nakon Nowhere and you all look down on me. Now I have big Taj Mahal and look down on neighbours "

Have you got Threadneedle or gone Post all?

I once had a powerful image I was surrounded by elephants.

In the morning I woke up with a shocking hangover surrounded by empty vessels

A cracking "building thread". Cant wait to see some piccies! Great ideas tool Now, a hole in the ground might lead to bigger things, and already you have two ponds, you say? Just drain them out, connect them, corrugated roofing, covered in turf ... well, that's a start!

Well all the land is cleared now, just got to get rid of the Euca stumps, which I'm putting into the largest pond, which will act as a feeder and also prevent the robbing feckers.

The larger pool is in a L shape,I;m now going to make it into a U shape that will be at the end of the garden and will be the place that we feed and catch the fish, though have to wait until around march because of the amount of rain this year.

I reckon we'll need around 300 truck loads, which we maybe able to get the rest from another pond near by,which also will be made bigger, though march time again.

Will try and load pics the next couple of days, its looking good though find the sun will get through though at 3pm it will be have a good shade from the sun.

Went out today and priced the bushes that we need for around was going to go for Khoi, though don't reckon we'll get them for anything less that 30 bahrt a piece and I reckon we;ll need around 600,so have gone fora cheaper option which is 2 baht per piece, though will try and find khoi seedlings if I can.
