    Security Shutters

Are they available in Thailand? Does anyone have experiance with them? The link has a picture I think they would be great in Thailand to help keep the sun out and house safe.

^ I'm not entirely sure about 'security shutters' but there's a Co. that produces security screens (look simialr to the usual insect screens) here in Chiang Mai so they might do something similar?

I've got the details squirreled away at home somewhere, can dig them out for you if you like.

I'm looking for an attractive alternative to stainless steele bars over the windows and sliding door. Any ideas would be welcome.

^ Ahh, well then this will definately suit your needs. It's a screen that's designed not to look like a security screen if you follow what I'm saying.

I will have a look for the details when I get home tonight. Only thing is I'm not 100% certain that they actually sell in the Thailand market, I spoke to the guy sometime back and he said (at that stage0 they were focusing on export.

It is on the baech at Kui Buri and probably occupies about 1.5 rai, as you can see all the windows on the 'public' side are roll shutters.

Hope this works its from "hideous Thai houses" if not it's #33
