Many years ago just under 2 million baht, its big though, 270 odd square meters inside area, and 75 outside.

I rather like the design although the stairs could perhaps be on the outside and the stairwell space used for another room...

There was a village of twenty or so of these 'Thai style' houses near where I used to live and I had a look around one ten years or so ago just to get some ideas.

A couple of the houses that had been bought had already had a roof put over the open area in the middle to give some shade and some shelter from the rain - they looked awful!

Within 5 years half had been sold and all the owners had put up various roofs to cover the open area.

Within ten years they had all been sold, apparently at a knockdown price, all had extra roofs added and the whole village looked like a shanty town.

DON'T DO IT!!!
