    The whistling pipes WTF

    Lately my water pipes(in the house) have started making a whistling squeaking sort of noise, this seems to happen when someone turns a tap on or flushes the shitter, what the fucks all that about? im thinking maybe air in the pipes? anyone else had this ? how to get rid of it? its starting to do my head in.

    I've heard such a noise coming from a tap that wouldn't close properly.

    Most likely a bad valve or mineral build up in pipes. You need to locate the source. If a valve, replace. If it's mineral build up you'll need to replace the pipe. Toilet valves are notorious for this problem.
