    Filling soil cost and contacts in doi saket. chiang mai

    If you know contractors and current prices for land fill and other landscaping earthworks. I am urgently looking for reliable and cheap sources in doi saket. Chaing mai. Please pvt

    not sure up there but here near khon kaen its 200b a truck, six wheel truck.
    if you are looking to fill a big area you better off doing a deal, but you should get different opinions you will be shocked at the difference in price and who is there to rip you off

    Distance from dump site is also a factor in cost.

    so, OP, all you have to do is contact two or three truck companies and ask them the costs

    Not to hijack the OP but I always hear of people filling their land and letting it settle for 2-3 years... Is there a way to speed up the settling process?

    yes get the heaviest compacter you can get, and if someone says that is not enough then get the heaviest after the one you just got

    you can build before the soil has settles, as the foundations will be deeper than any fill

    just it may be very muddy if you are trying to build in the rainy season

    When I recently leveled my property I noticed differences in the color of the soil being excavated. Often the soil quality was black or dark brown to what I believe to be degraded plant materials. The balance was the red earth typical of Thailand.
