    Building Help Today, Please.

OK, from my building thread you'll be aware that I know very little and it's all gonna be a disaster...

Tomorrow morning, I'm going to the land to speak to the FiL. Once the day is done, he will have a free hand to beautifully build/ruin everything over the next few months. It's likely that half the build will be done without me being back to see it because I'm off prostituting meself to Arabs again.

What are the main things I need to bring across for the start of the build?

    This is my initial outline:

    • Give him the plans, make sure he understands them and can build them (I believe it's quite a simple construction).
    • Get him to exchange numbers with the architect incase of problems.
    • Show him pictures of good foundations and crap ones; insisting that a solid foundation poured thickly withg plenty of rebar (the platform) and strong and well constructed weight bearing pillars are essential. He is to have a machine pouring high quality concrete onsite in one pour, not Somchai and Somsak mixing by hand and pouring over several days...
    • Make him undestand the construction for the waste water; the biochemical shite boxes, where they can be purchased, etc.
    • All plumbing should be external and easy to get to incase of problems.
    • I will highlight extra taps inside and out that are required.
    • All wiring (I'm not sure this will even be started until I come back Xmasish time for round 2, but worth mentioning....) must be of the highest quality with plenty of outlets - we will go to the store to check my requirements if need be.
    • The basic foundation and construction is primary - if it's not done to my satisfaction then they will have to tear it all down and tart again (I will take them a few spirit levels and plumb lines...).
    • Do not buy any fixtures or fittings, that will all be done by me at a later date.
    • Roof - as per the plan. We will have to go to the shop and check this out... I'm still not sure on how this works with ventilation, etc, so I will read through my thread again (and the very helpful comments), chat through with the architect and get on top of it.
    • Chemicals for termites in the foundations.
The plan (I know, I know...) is to have a beautiful and well constructed basic foundation with supporting walls and roof by the time I return around Xmas. Then for the next round of ideas.

Obviously it's gonna go wrong. But any other suggestions for what needs to be covered at this initial stage?
How do I post these pictures???

Rebar suspended off the ground. If they don't have supports can make luk buen out of concrete using plastic cups as molds.
