Aircon maintenance question

Hi

I am not familiar with aircon. We had one Panasonic split unit installed 4 years ago but it was used only for the two month we were there. It was only switched on once a month since then so it does not get stuck. My BIL cleaned the outside unit heat exchanger and it now still runs perfectly and very quiet.

Should I have maintenance done after such a long time? Check at least the cooling fluid?

I have mine serviced every year. (it's not expensive here).

I would definitely get it done after such a long time and KW is right - it's not expensive.

We pay around THB 800.00 for three units and have them checked every 6 months.

I am in the Philippines, for two month again. We wii be here more freqently in the future.

The internet connection with USB stick and SIM-card is horrible but better connections are only available with one year contract.
