Luxury Thai properties up to Dhs18m on show in Abu Dhabi

Luxury Thai properties up to Dhs18m on show in Abu Dhabi

Minor International, Thailand's leading hospitality company is showcasing its luxury collection of exclusive branded residential Thai properties at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel by Anantara in Abu Dhabi, Saturday 4 May and Sunday 5 May.

The exclusive properties are located across three developments, The Estates Samui on the southern island of Koh Sumui; The Residences at Four Seasons in the northern resort of Chiang Mai and The Residences by St Regis in Bangkok, come with price tags starting from Dhs13.35m up to Dhs18m.

In a complementary move the residences are being presented in collaboration with Lotus Arts de Vivre, which will be showcasing exquisite and unique jewellery and home décor items from their Thai collection.

Over the past three decades, Lotus Arts de Vivre has built a following of loyal customers, including international celebrities and royalty from around the world, who appreciate the company's distinctive hand-made jewellery, objets d'art and home décor items which draw on Thai and other Asian artisan traditions.

"These are the ultimate, hotel serviced residences in Thailand. Owners can choose between Bangkok city centre, the beautiful northern mountains of Chiang Mai and the stunning southern beaches of Koh Samui, indeed some of our owners have chosen one of each," said Bill Heinecke, CEO of Minor group.

"We have created each of our branded Residences with the concept of completely stress-free property ownership. Most of our owners take advantage of the fact that their Residences can be serviced by luxury five-star operators. They can arrive, relax and enjoy their time in beautiful palatial surroundings. When they leave their Residence is still maintained and meticulously cleaned, ready for their next visit. In fact many owners choose their Residence as their primary home," added Heinecke.

The award-winning Estates Samui has a limited collection of just 14 villas (nine of which have been sold to date), offering investors a unique return, serving as both an investment property as well as a remarkable vacation home.

"In popular areas like Koh Samui, resort properties often command much higher rental returns, especially by offering residents and their guests exclusive access to the services and amenities of the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui," said Heinecke

The Estate is nestled amongst the lush secluded hillside of stunning Laem Yai Bay on the northwestern tip of Koh Samui, overlooking a private stretch of beach. Ranging in size from two to five bedrooms, each master bedroom opens onto a private plunge pool. A separate sala (large hall) with dining and living areas and a sunken pavilion look out over a private infinity pool. Nearby, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui offers additional services and facilities, including restaurants, lounges, a spa, golfing, tennis and sailing.

"The Residences are exclusive developments and naturally there are a very limited number available," commented Heinecke.

Adjoining the world-famous Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, the Residences consist of five secluded residential villas, tucked away within up to an acre of verdant tropical gardens and stunning rural mountain panoramas and the natural beauty of the Mae Rim Valley.

Each of the five residential villas has been designed by famed architect Lek Bunnag to provide the ultimate in luxury living, creating an environment rich with modern comforts to complement Northern Thailand's rustic natural beauty and charming traditions.

All villas at Residences comprise two levels with four bedrooms, and are fully equipped with the luxuries of modern technology, including state-of-the-art entertainment and communication systems, and of course, the on-call service of a Four Seasons butler at any hour of the day.

Designed in harmony with nature, each residence is enclosed in its own individually landscaped garden created by the internationally acclaimed landscape architect Bill Bensley.

The Residences at The St. Regis Bangkok offers the ultimate address, with one of the world's top lifestyle and hotel brands. Featuring a striking and award-winning design, The St. Regis Bangkok has become one of the defining silhouettes on the city's skyline since its completion in May 2011.

Located on the top 20 floors of the 45-story building, The Residences feature just 53 private residences - ranging in size from 325 to 920 square meters, and including three-and four-bedroom units, deluxe penthouses and duplex penthouses with private pools.

There's loads of villas on Phuket for 50 million Baht upward. None of them have any land papers, but are freehold.

You can pretend own/effectively rent, a villa just the same as a condo. Essentially the same isn't it?

Would imagine you can own the building and the land is owned by a Thai company. Just a on going time share or some kind of long term lease.
Read a few of these deals on Samui didn't go as planned for other developers. Buyer beware. Jim

It is a public beach as all other beaches in Thailand but one may have to access it from the seaside since there is no public way down to it.

Yep same as most western countries 30 meter or 100 feet from the high tide mark is public or Crown/ Government land.
You can do anything you want in Thailand, own land build houses and own beaches, no problem. That is until someone wants you gone, then there is a problem. Jim
