Thread: Teak house rebuild

This is my first post so hello to all.
Having built four bungalows in Krabi previously and deciding not take on any large project, I’m doing it again!
Said to the wife I wanted just a couple of rai and a small bungalow to see me out. So now I have about ten rai of beautiful hilly land with a superb view in the middle of nowhere and planted with fruit trees. We are negotiating with the owner of a 65 year old simple but solid teak wood house to dismantle and rebuild on the land. My aim is to restore the house to its original condition although there will be some alterations such as the creation of a bathroom and balcony upstairs and open plan kitchen/living area on the ground floor.
