Thread: Bangkok Trader

As you guys know I run a project managment company down here in Pattaya (sin city).
To help get customers I also advertise in the local magazines, In early December I decided to put a half page ad in the new BANGKOK TRADER, the first issue due to be out in mid December, December come & went & No magazine, middle of January while I was in Bangkok I picked up a copy, as I agreed to 3 months, never saw another copy until I picked up the Feb issue again in BKK last week.
Last week the boss of the Mag in question, phoned me saying you've not paid the bill, I said where is the bill or the magazines, he said we sent them to your office "Bullshit", anyway yesterday when I went into my office sure enough his bill was there & a pile of magazines he had dropped of the day before, as where only talking 8000 baht I'm going to pay him, but the American guy who runs it, is really full of shit.
Another real estate mate of mine down here advertised in there as well, & also got the same call last week, he told the guy to F*** Off.
Aparantly they are meant to print 15,000 copies per month & deliver them to 600 locations, funny then can't deliver them to there advertisers.

The Bangkok Trader has no connection whatsoever to the Pattaya Trader, even though it is an identical copy.

I've only ever seen it once in Bangkok. I wouldn't bother with it.

Its funny that term "circulation" here in LOS isn't the same as other parts of the world.

Don't they just change the cover on the leftovers each month?
