i'm looking for something real enough for the dog and my feet but not so that I have to sell a kidney.

most of the websites i find seem to just blabber on about football pitches. I don't have a lot of space to cover and cant be arsed with real grass.

I used some in a lobby as part of a wall design. I found a supplier across from JJ Mall who had some really good looking stuff for 700b per sq meter. Modernform / Innovasia Carpets has it but it doesn't look as good.

When I lived in Saudi, I had a small sand garden in the back of the townhouse. Nothing would grow due to the heat, so it was just an ugly, unusable, patch of dirt and sand. I poured concrete, and then Astro-turfed over the concrete base. Added a table with a big umbrella, a big floor fan, a BBQ grill, and I had a pretty decent little patio for the cool of the evening. Of course I didn't have a real dog, just wife number one. And, I was still in Saudi. But, you could sit and drink homemade wine and dream you were someplace else.....
