I would like to share with you my hobby, these are some of the latest 3D renders I've done for a few projects in and around Thailand.

Hate to piss on yr parade mate, but its horrible. I posted some earlier versions of my drawings. Have a look for inspiration.
Thanks for your honest comments do you create renders also? I couldn't find any of your links? Could you share please? Thanks
Looks good, how much would it cost for a rendering? Thinking of getting a 120 sqw plot... and would like to see how a house would look on it.
look good, the designs are thai, but not necessarily your fault.
more info please.
modeled in?
rendered in?
post in?

Why do you call it a hobby? Do you do this for enjoyment? The designs are nothing special but you have skill as a renderer. I wish more people would go back to sketching and painting these kind of residential designs - computer generated images just look so plastic to me.
Nick sorry to be so insensitive but to be honest I have a personal aversion to these sorts of monolithic, featureless designs.
They give no thought to the heat loading and natural ways and means of keeping a dwelling conditioned.
Although I must admit the drawing is pretty.
Myself, I don't do rendering, possibly because I am too old and stupid, but mainly becasue they are made for stupid people that have not the imagination to picture a build from engineering drawings.

There can’t be good living where there is not good drinking
true, but the great thing about rendered pics is that the proportions will be accurate. these days architects sketches (at least with the architects i've met) tend to be preliminary, and they use models (still) and renders when they have measurements.Originally Posted by Humbert
they do seem to give a false impression though, or maybe that is because I haven't enough experience with themOriginally Posted by zeusbheld
I like the walk-through 3D constructs, they are fun! But I rely on just plan drawings to visualise what the place will look like - the real thing is often a pleasant surprise
I have reported your post
^ hahahah i thought the skies were the downfall, 30% should be the rule.

I love the 'agressive' roof style. I am going to incorporate this into the house I am designing for my wife in her village. Cheers.
^nice toes.
Typically Thai but there is a reason for that, they love it. i mean LOVE it.
I prefer Google sketch up anyone can make 3D drawings from plan. no need to pay anyone. i did it for my house. EASY.
but the op has made renders artsy with his vanilla skies.
im hot its so hot today.......milk was a bad choice!
Great programme and much easier than acad or bentley cad. Inclusing with the included rendering/shadows and geolocate / terrain input from google earth.Originally Posted by benlovesnuk
