No way! She took all away, she even had to have a special building added to store all this sc... She would not even leave her mother old bicycle behind when my friend asked for it.
Too bad! I was rebuilding part of an old barn in New Hampshire many years ago, when I found a rusty old rifle hanging on some deer antlers up by the hay loft. I showed it to the owner, and he said "Keep it." Got paid $400 for the job. Took the rifle home and cleaned it up; took a lot of work. Then took it to a large, really good gun shop nearby, as I had never seen anything like it. It was a copy of an M-1 in size, weight and configuration, but lever-action rather than bolt-action, and chambered for .22 caliber. Turns out it was a WWII training rifle, chambered for .22 caliber as the ammo was cheaper. Sold it to a collector for $600. There were quite a few of them made, but there aren't many in good shape for sale in gun shops or swap meets. Three days work - $1000. Love old barns and houses!

Good luck it seems like a fair challenge...is it possible for you to dig trenches around the house to bury some sub soil perferated pipe to get some termite treatment/preventative into the soil....the mongrels can be a real party destroyer

as mentioned in the "Termite diaries", with old houses they drill holes in the floors about 1m apart and inject into those

    it works well

For some reason I've always seen Thai houses as teak structures, even though I know that's not reality. If I finally get to live there, I'll be buying/having built an all teak house, similar to those sold by Thai Lanna Homes, see here ThaiLanna Home, buy your own TEAK-wooden house in Thailand!

I'd even consider having one imported for a rain forest block in the north of Queensland, Australia. They have a nice look and feel about them, just something I've loved since I saw Jim Thompson's house off Sukhumvit on my first visit to Thailand 30+ years ago.

Good luck with the renovation, and having built five houses from scratch, always avoiding renovations because they are too difficult, I don't envy you the undertaking.

    good advert...spammer!

those are very expensive although they look OK

better to buy a couple of ancient teak houses and rebuild yourself, much more satisfying and interesting, and half the price

renovations are very different to new build, true, but not necessarily more difficult

you have a framework you have to work within, some constrictions, but you do have the basic structure which is a big step

a new build needs lots of extra thought initilally to get the house right for the land and the future residents
    I have reported your post

After seven years inhabited, pollution accumulates...
One wonders what happens to our lungs after a few years in the city, or a few seasons of forest fires in the country...

After taking down the ceilings, ant treatment is applied to all wood, and the eaten pieces are replaced by new ones.

Then, with a pneumatic nailer, a new ceiling is quickly put up.
