    Image Copy and Paste.

I don't know if it's of any significance but I've changed from Firefox to Chrome. For some reason I can't 'Copy Image' and 'Paste' it. May be I've added an 'addon' that's causing the probs. Assistance please.

You mean paste the image here?

Try "copy image address" not "copy image"

Okay, and this is what I get. http://assets.thaivisa.com/optimale/view/TheOwl.jpg The same applies when trying to post a photo from the Gallery.

The link is right but you have to wrap it in IMG tags. Paste it into the IMG box

^^You need to paste the image address into image tags () not just the address directly itself.

Why can't this forum get a program that makes it easier to post pictures? This has been going on for years here and I can't understand why. I don't have these kind of problems on other forums I go to.

I can scan over a pic and then press control C and then go where I want to post it and press control V, what the heck is the problem here?

Know what you mean but you can do the same here. Just a different procedure with an extra click or 2.

Right click copy image address then control v or paste into the ---> tab.

Admin/owner that doesn't give a fuck about the user, or doesn't have the technical knowledge?

That seems a little harsh to say about a person you don't know.

    Not really.
The forum software probably hasn't been updated since before the dog died.

Posting of videos and pictures is very tedious.

    This:

Should imbed a video, it doesn't.

From a post, you should be able to just click the and have the forum software ask you where the picture is and then upload it, either from a URL or from saved pic on your device.

Copy/paste of a picture should also work.

My rant is abt pics, so I'll just post here, instead of making a new thread.

I've just visited my old pic threads - Puerto Galera, Sagada, Pinatubo, Bali, etc - pics are gone, due to photobucket wanting payment. Grrrrr! I have maybe 10 or so pic threads here, and almost all pics are hosted on PB. Only the latest trip (Taiwan) has pix remaining, since the later pix were hosted on Imgsafe.

My net at home is &$%@ and I can't be assed to copy/paste/link the pix again, so they would have to remain as lost. For most of my pic threads, they were done immediately after my trips, so the memories & feelings were still fresh. It's too much time & effort to rehost them, so voila - no more pix.

I hope y'all saw & enjoyed the pix, while they lasted. PB sucks!!! Grrr!
