you had what we are discussing - what baloa has and what I would recomment for anyone who cannot get fibre yet , and does not have access to a phone line for ADSL - though I would prefer the ubiquity device ove ADSL as then you dont have to worry about an over subscribed DSLAM

^ I do believe TOT have stopped using the nanostation as the above photo and now use a small Mini Dish that works in the same way. My mates Nanostation packed up a few months ago and instead of a new nanostation they installed the Mini-dish and said to him they don't use them anymore !

Yeah, I know.

I did a thread on it once upon and time, and there were a couple of other threads on it too.

It's the best option.

Cost me 8,000 baht to get the thing set up about 2 years ago and has been perfect since - loads of bandwidth (I think it is completely unlimited in the true sense of the word), fast and works almost all the time although storms can get the signal a bit bitty, all for 600 baht a month.
