Just got a warning from Chrome about possible malware in the Amusing Pictures thread.
I think I was on about page 408-410.

Crap. Wonder if that was me??
I posted a few gifs from :

but not sure where the cdn comes from?
If it is me, let me know and I will go delete - but not of my programs triggered?
That warning just popped up for me, too.
It must be a Chrome thing - nothing on Firefox and IE.
this is the only thing that popped up in the amusing pic's ,
for the last few days I have had firefox hanging
I keep disabling more and more of the bloat trying to isolate where the problem is coming from - I think it is some flash element of which I load none but it does not play nice with flashblock which causes the script to hang.
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.
OK, try again now.

if you google pbh2 cdn malware there are a couple of forum posts from february referencing.Originally Posted by nidhogg

Probably a good idea to scan and clean one's system everyday...
You never know what you're going to pick up.
Even from the most unlikely places.
^can anyone recommend a good, safe and free download to clean the malware and spyware out of my computer.
I use malwarebytes anti malware. Had no problems with it. It seems to do the trick and is free. Link here

As with all free software just make sure you uncheck the boxes that wants to make Ask your search engine or install a certain toolbar etc.
Treat everyone as a complete and utter idiot and you can only ever be pleasantly surprised !
As I have posted in another thread, you can get free MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Activation Code And Serial Key Number from this site .

Worked for me, thanks, boloa.
I run the one The Big Fella suggested as a back up to this Spybot - Search & Destroy from Safer-Networking Ltd. Spybot search and destroy.
No reason why I prefer one over the other, I think I just found spybot first but they sometimes pick up on things the other doesn't.

What's going on with my Chrome and TD? I can open the front page but if I continue to New Posts or open a thread a warning pops up, says opening this can harm your computer. Just started this afternoon.
Posting now from iPad, no probs.
WTF?
Are you looking in the amusing pictures thread?
If a photo is hotlinked to a site that's on a malware list you'll get the warning.
Edit: I think that's already been covered above.
^ Only trying to open New Posts or Your Replies, not pics.
In that case your computer has AIDS.
Or in real terms, I haven't a clue.
^ Yeah, thanks, Al!
It comes up as a Chrome banner at the bottom of the screen, then asks if I want to download the page.
Whatever it was, it isn't happening today. Back to normal.
Computer cured itself of AIDS.
